Join us in a special online workshop to learn how to create our new Felt Chinese Lanterns Craft Kit!

This workshop will be held on Tuesday, 28th September, from 7-8pm.

The workshop will be held via Zoom, and you will be emailed a link to attend in advance of the workshop. You'll also find the workshop's Zoom meeting ID enclosed with your kit.

Please note that this workshop will be recorded, and a link to re-watch the workshop will be shared with ticket holders afterwards.

Please ensure that you cut out the felt for your Chinese Lanterns before the workshop, following the instructions you'll find inside the kit.

Tickets for the workshops include our new Felt Chinese Lanterns Craft Kit, containing: wool mix felt fabric and balls, florist stems, florist tape, step by step colour instructions and templates. You'll also receive a sweet treat and special teabag to enjoy as we craft along together!

Please note: you will need glue (not provided) to complete this kit - for best results a hot glue gun is recommended.

The kit is perfect for beginners, but we’d recommend adult supervision for children under the age of 10.

For every ticket that we sell, we'll also be donating a day's sewing training to women in India, through our charity partner B1G1 (Buy 1 Give 1).

The sale of clothing with intricate embroidery and embellishments generates vital income for women in rural India - so as you craft along with us, you'll also be equipping women in need with valuable training, too!

You can purchase a ticket for yourself, or as a gift for a friend or loved-one!

How do I join the online workshop?

The workshop will be held via Zoom, which you will need to download to your computer, tablet, or phone before the workshop. You will be sent a link to join the workshop via email shortly before the event.

If you purchase the kit as a gift for someone else, please let us know their name and email address in the instructions box at our online checkout, so that we can send them a link to join the workshop.

I’m busy on that date, can I watch the workshop later?

This workshop will be recorded, and a link to watch the recording will be shared with ticket holders after the event.

Will I need to switch my camera on during the workshop?

You can certainly switch on your camera during the workshop, but there is no obligation to do so! You are welcome to craft along at the same time, or simply to watch as Jo demonstrates how to make the kit.

Please keep yourself muted during the workshop, but please do unmute yourself at any time to ask questions. You can also use the chat box any time. Muting is essential for good sound quality during the workshop.
