I was really looking forward to this kit, after finding various toadstools and mushrooms on a recent walk. They were growing on tree stumps and logs - so I was happy when I was given the perfect piece of twisted tree roots to use as part of my display. The video tutorial was really helpful in new techniques, and as always the printed instructions are clear. I liked being encouraged to come up with my own ideas, and once I’d made the first mushroom I couldn’t stop until I’d made them all! I’m very happy with the finished display, and have some of the coloured wool and pipe cleaners remaining to enable me to try a different version.
