I’m so excited to share a little behind-the-scenes look at what I’m working on right now - a brand new needle felting kit featuring none other than Snoopy!
Snoopy, the lovable beagle from Charles M. Schulz’s classic Peanuts comic strip, first appeared back in 1950. Over the decades, he’s captured hearts around the world with his charm, humour, and famous daydreams of being a World War I flying ace!
To make sure I captured Snoopy’s iconic look just right, I even purchased a soft toy for reference — studying it closely to get the proportions just right. In my needle-felted version, the head and limbs are cleverly attached using cocktail sticks, helping to keep everything secure and properly positioned.
I’ve also spent time carefully smoothing the surface with a fine gauge felting needle, which gives the finished piece a beautifully neat and polished look - just like the Snoopy we all know and love.
