the perfect intro into needlefelting

I bought myself the wren kit from a local charity shop, as I was interested in having a go. I absolutely loved it. Everything you need is in the kit, and the instructions were clear and helpful. I made my wren in an afternoon and was very pleased with it. I'm just browsing your website now, to look at which kits to put on my Christmas list!

Have just enjoyed making this lovely bird, using one of your kits, bought in my local British Heart Foundation shop. I am surprised, but delighted at how great she looks, considering she is my first venture into felting!!

Great fun and the perfect introduction to Needlefelting

I bought two wrens and two robin kits for a fun afternoon in our holiday rental on the Isle of Tiree for incase the weather was poor. It was one afternoon so out came the kits. We were all total novices - this was the the first experience for us all and we all enjoyed the making and the finished results. There was enough fleece left to make a second item, which was an added bonus but all of us broke nearly all the needles despite being very careful, so take care. The instructions were excellent - very clear, and the packaging inviting and fun. The only thing we didn't have with us was a small pair of pliers to twist the wire for the bird's' legs, but they still look great. All our results are different. One looks like a real bird and the others look fun - like Christmas decorations. All are unique and turned out much better than expected so we are all pleased and would like to try more projects. All of us took much longer than the 2 hours stated on the box. The fastest to finish took 4 hours and we were quite concentrated, sitting around a table.but, we were complete beginners. The kits gave us hours of fun and plenty of laughs and admiration. Very absorbing Good value for money we all thought. The kits are lightweight and self contained so ideal to take travelling. Someone at the company very kindly rushed the kits to me so I received them before we set off to Tiree, Sorry I have forgotten her name, but I have to say the service couldn't have been better. Thank you all.
